FluidPass Subscription Protocol
Deploying Superfluid real-time token streaming integrations for Web3 subscriptions.
The Challenge & Context
FluidPass wanted to allow Web3 SaaS tools to charge users using real-time, per-second token streaming. Standard subscription gateways required active monthly approvals, resulting in high transaction overhead and a 26% user churn rate when subscription approvals expired.
Engineering Methodology
We developed a custom billing architecture integrating the Superfluid Protocol. We wrote custom Solidity contract streams on Polygon, and engineered a seamless, highly responsive dashboard using Wagmi and Ethers.js to allow users to start, pause, and modify token streams with a single transaction approval.
Architectural & Tech Rationale
Superfluid was chosen as the premier token streaming framework, avoiding continuous transaction requirements. Polygon ensured transaction fees remained under a cent, preserving user capital during streams.
Quantified Business Outcomes
Integration resolution time was reduced by 30% through our clean, modular contract wrapper. FluidPass enabled SaaS platforms to eliminate monthly subscription billing friction, resulting in a 42% increase in customer lifetime value and an instant 95% reduction in billing-related churn.
